A pairing scheme (also called a paper scheme) is an official guide that shows how topics and chapters are divided in the board exam. It tells students which lessons or poems will appear in:

According to the official PCTB pairing scheme 2025–26, the Urdu paper consists of 75 marks divided into two main sections:

📝 Subjective Section (60 Marks)
The subjective portion of the Urdu paper is divided into the following categories:

Students will be given three sets of short questions from prose, poems, and grammar lessons.
They must attempt the required number from each section.
Short questions are taken from:
Ghazal & Nazm (Poetry)
Nasri Nasos (Prose Lessons)
Grammar & Idioms Section
✳️ Section II – Translation & Explanation (15 Marks)
This section includes explanation (تشریح) of selected poems and lessons.
Students are asked to:
Translate verses from Ghazal or Nazm
Explain their meaning and context
