📢 Big Update from Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board (PCTB)!
The board has officially released the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) for 9th Class (Session 2025–26) to help students focus on important topics and reduce unnecessary syllabus load.

Under this program, each subject’s syllabus has been reduced — several topics, MCQs, and long questions have been deleted for the upcoming Annual Exams 2026.

📘 What Is the 9th Class Smart Syllabus 2025–26?

The smart syllabus is a revised version of the regular syllabus prepared by the Punjab Board to reduce the study load on students. Some topics, exercises, and pages have been removed from the textbooks to make exam preparation easier. This is especially helpful for students who are catching up after academic delays or condensed terms.

📝 1. Urdu (9th class smart syllabus 2025)

Some poems, stories, and grammar sections have been removed to make learning easier. Students are advised to prepare only the included chapters according to the official smart syllabus.

📗 2. English (9th class smart syllabus 2025)

The Punjab Board has deleted Unit 5, Unit 8, and Unit 10 from the 9th Class English book:

Unit 5: Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship (Pages 58–71)
Unit 8: The Impact of Globalisation on Culture and Economy (Pages 93–105)
Unit 10: The Silent Predator and the Majestic Prey – Snow Leopard and Markhor (Pages 120–131)

Students should focus on the remaining units for exams.

🕌 3. Islamiat (9th class smart syllabus 2025)

Some Ahadith, Surahs, and short questions have been excluded from the paper scheme. The revised syllabus now includes only the most important chapters from the Quran and Hadith portions.

📘 4. Mathematics(9th class smart syllabus 2025)

Selected exercises and examples from algebra and geometry units have been deleted. Students should carefully review the official smart syllabus PDF to avoid preparing unnecessary topics.

💻 5. Computer Science & Entrepreneurship

This subject has undergone major reductions. The Punjab Board has deleted specific lessons and questions from almost every unit. Key deletions include:

Unit 1: System types, system design, and several MCQs and long questions.
Unit 2: Binary encoding, floating-point representation, and multimedia storage.
Unit 3: Application of digital logic and related activities.
Unit 4: Security threats and troubleshooting strategies.
Unit 5–12: Multiple exercises and long questions from software systems, networks, data science, web development, and entrepreneurship chapters.

⚗️ 6. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

In the science group, many practical experiments and theory topics have been excluded.

Physics: Certain derivations and numerical problems are skipped.
Chemistry: Deleted exercises from atomic structure and bonding chapters.
Biology: Fewer long questions and reduced content from cell biology and classification units.

These changes make it easier for students to revise major concepts efficiently.
